The C2002-WK includes a 13-piece accessory kit with a 25-foot nylon hose, blow gun and attachments, tire chuck, tire gauge, quick coupler, plugs and Teflon tape. Get a great value on this top notch pancake-style air compressor by purchasing a like new, factory-reconditioned version.
Customer Review :
Amazing!
This is a great product and a great deal! I was so amazed when I received this item and took it out of the box. It has unbelievable features and power. We used it right away with our Porter Cable nailer and stapler and expected it to recycle at least once while we installed over 200 wood planks in our laundry room. Not a peep and our nail gun seemed to work smoother than before. Recommend this to anyone and it saved us $80 and we didn't have to deal with the shenanigans at Home Depot!

Better than expected
For a reconditioned unit, I was pleasantly suprised that the unit looked new! Everything worked as it should and the unit is very powerful and recharges quickly. They couldhave packaged it better, but it made it ok...

Good Value good performance - Better than older model
I purchased the C2002 WKR to replace a well used 10 year old Porter cable CF2600 120 psi 6 gallon compressor, which was overheating. With the exception of being packaged in a plain brown box (instead of the new model box printed white and red), and the small refurbished sticker on the compressor housing, my unit appears to be brand new. The box arrived in great shape with no dents or marks. I looked at a new C2002 at a big box store and it appears the plain brown refurbished box is slightly heavier than the printed new box, which is good thing if are buying on line and having it shipped. What I like - The oversized handle on top is a great improvement over the single sided grab pocket on the old CF2600 - The second air port is a great addition as It allows two guns to be plugged in and used at the same time. - My model unit came with an accessory kit containing a 25' air hose and fittings so no need to go by a hose for the second air port.. - There are features on the side of the pump housing for winding up the cord, and there is a cord clip molded into the plug. No more dangling wires during transport. - There is a cover over the pressure gages and manifold - The cord on my CF2600 would occasionally snag on the unprotected gauges. - The unit is slightly lighter than the CF2600 it is replacing. - The 150 psi capacity with 120 psi recharge pressure means my framing nailer in particular can run for a long time. I was applying OSB sheathing to a roof ( nailing ever 8" bang, bang, bang). By the time the air pressure got down to where the nails were not fully seated, it was time to stop and reload nails anyway. Note I run with the single shot sequential trigger. If running with the faster bump fire trigger, the compressor might not be able to fully keep up. - Looking thru the slats in the pump housing I can see that Porter Cable has added internal ducts / baffles to improve the air flow of the cooling fan. My old unit was basically an open box with a fan at one end. On this new unit I can definitely feel a forced flow of hot air coming out the back compared to the more gentle flow on the old one.
Other comments. - There is a warning label on the unit which says remove compressor from service (or replace tank) 10 years after date of purchase. Reason given is "Risk of Bursting. Water will condense in the air tank. If not drained, water will corrode and weaken the air tank causing a risk of air tank rupture". Owners manual instructs "Drain air tank daily or after each use." : Realistically speaking even purging tank after each use won't get out 100% of the water, so after ten years it is probably a good idea to retire the unit. Thus if the service life is only 10 years, saving the extra $$$ by buying a refurbished unit makes sense.
Very happy with the performance so far.

Reconditioned Porter-Cable Pancake Compressor
I purchased the above Pancake Compressor and the 13- piece accessory kit.. I have utilized it 1X so for...and love it... I plan on using it extensively later in the fall in my shop...and I do feel it is exactly what I need to do my all my wood working requirements. The compressor cut-off and operated as prescribed. I am excited and hope that it will provide me many hours of free maintenance. I do feel that the factory-reconditioned is as good as a new one..especially since it carries the same warranty as a new one.

Missing Information
I would have liked to purchase this item, but there are just too many unknowns. Lots of people love it and lots think it is junk, as with all the compressors I have studied. I was even able to locate SOME of the information that Amazon coyly omitted: The tool weighs 34#. The noise level is 82 dBA (ISO 3744). It does indeed produce 3.5 SCFM but at 40 PSI (duh) by ISO1217. It produces 2.6 SCFM at 90 PSI, which is exactly what you'd expect from it's .8hp 10A motor. The troubling thing for me is the total lack of information about the warranty. Amazon says it's 'factory' reconditioned but they don't actually say it was done at the Black & Decker/DeWalt/Delta/Devilbiss/Porter Cable factory, and I have bought equipment that was refurbished in a 'factory' that had nothing to do with the manufacturer. When you look at Amazon's warranty info, it is absent. They say to check with the manufacturer. Go to DeltaPorterCable and try to find it. The word 'reconditioned' does not appear on their website or in their warranty documents. One reviewer said that the manufacturer would not honor any warranty since Amazon is not an authorized reseller (though this is not a condition in any of their warranty documents). They have several different warranties and it is not at all clear which one would even apply to this item in new condition. Is is the 'post-2008 warranty', the 'professional tools warranty' or the 'standard' warranty? This is just too tiresome. After reading about Amazon's poor performance when problems arose with this unit, I think I'll pass on this great price and possibly great machine.

Now I've received two boxes of FLN-200 and used them all. First of all I received them earlier than expected and in perfect condition with no shipping fees on my super saver free shipping offer Amazon gave me of over $25.00 or more... Second they worked exactly how they suppose to work... P.S. remember to calculate what you need 100 square feet require a box of 1000

It is a must for putting down hardwood floors
These nails are perfect for laying hardwood floors. Although a lot of folks complained here about the packaging, we had no problems, everything arrived in the boxes and had no problem using these nails.

Firsttimer Finds Flooring Simple
This mechanical floor nailer is effective and simple to use. My carpenter friend set up the first 3 rows with his air nailer and I took it from there. It is simple to load and once you get your mallet technique down it is EASY. Caution, my first swing I hit myself in the shin! Thank goodness it's got a rubber head.

no good
I had this gun a month now. The nails are getting stuck behind the magazine advance, so the nails don't advance I have to open it up and unstick the nails. maybe I just go a bad one, but don't like its design. I am going back to porter cable.
Rating :
Not So Good
1).Because of the safty position You have to hold nailer sideways or upside down to tack casing on top of a door or window. 2).Started to mishit nails from day 1. (1 out of 10-15 nails would need a nailset.) It sits on a shelf unused. (used less than a week) 2 stars because it was cheap, light, and looked good. May work for light duty home use, but don't buy if You plan to use it daily.

Worth Every Penny
This is a great brad nailer at a very fair price. My only regret is I didn't get this tool years ago. We recently remodeled a bathroom and I had to install new trim. When I did the same thing 2 years ago in another, smaller, bathroom, it literally took me a couple hours to drill the nail holes (to prevent splitting), nail up the trim, and then sink the nails with a nail set. This past weekend it took me 20 minutes including the setup/tear-down of the compressor. I have a a very small Husky 1.5 gallon compressor that delivers 2 CFM at 80 PSI and it had no problem running the gun in single fire mode. This is my fist pneumatic nailer so I practiced on some scrap trim to get the depth set correctly. All the controls are well documented in the user guide and were easy to work on my unit. The nailer has tremendous power, even with my small compressor, and easily drove 2", 18 gauge brads through Oak trim into drywall and pine studs. My compressor doesn't have a built in oiler so I put 10 drops of pneumatic tool oil in the air inlet as recommended in the user guide. The nailer doesn't come with oil or brads. I picked both up at my local Lowes, using the Bostitch brads recommended by another reviewer. Indoors this is a very loud tool so I wore hearing protectors (purchased separately) along with the safety glasses supplied with the tool.

Great little nailer so far.
We used it for the first time today to install mdf baseboard trim. This is our first nailer and we chose it after reading the great reviews on it. The owners manual has tons of information that made operation very clear. (Too bad the Makita air compressor's manual wasn't as good). Light weight and easy to handle. Easy to load the nails. All the adjustments are easy to find and use. We use the depth adjuster on the nailer and practiced with different air pressures to see which worked best.
We used it at 100lbs psi and set the nails just below the surface consistantly each time. My husband did one room on his hands and knees in uncomfortable positions driving nails with a hammer before we got this nailer and hated every minute of it. This nailer makes the job actually enjoyable!
We found that Lowes had a good selection of nails compared to Home Depot.(Since I posted this review we found more nails and nail guns at Home Depot in another section of the store which is confusing.) Lowes also sold this nailer but it was much more and they wouldn't honor online competitive prices and would not sell it to us for the same price as Amazon. We tried to take advantage of the Hitachi $10.00 rebate but missed the cut off by 5 days and I called Hitachi and they would not honor extention of rebate. We had been looking at the Hitachi nail guns online and waited to see them in person at a store before buying them. Porter Cable is much better about rebates than Hitachi. Hitachi could learn a thing or two from Porter Cable's rebate system. Not only did Porter Cable allow me an extention on a $50.00 rebate for 16" omni jig but set up the rebate online before they even received a thing for me so when I did mail in the UPC from the box it was already pre approved and I got the rebate within a month! Hitachi couldn't do that for a $10.00 rebate!
We have a whole house to trim out and will be building cabinets and decided we needed a smaller brad nailer which will work for both. We thought about getting a 15 gage finish nailer but decided on this one after looking at the nails in the store and trying them on for size and liked this lighter more manuverable nailer.
Love the ajustable exhaust to blow dust off the working surface. It comes with a nice carrying case, extra nose cap and safety glasses.

Works Great
My wife had an upholstered chair from her grandma. It was not real old, but two of the springs came loose. To get at those, multiple layers of upholstery had to be pulled up. I bought a professional upholstery staple puller and this stapler. These two items made the job easy and the outcome was great.
We also used the stapler to attach triangular flags to dowels for a church kids' program.
I expect to use it for other things in the future. The price makes it nice for an occasional user like myself.
One thing I wish was that the sides of the stapler tapered to a point that corresponded to the center of the staple. That way you could naturally know where the staple would go. You have to think about centered the staple the way it is constructed.
Rating :
Exceptional performance and value
I waited to run my first 1000 staples through the Surebonder before writing a review. It's been outstanding in every way. Lightweight and comfortable to operate, it delivers ample power to staple into dense hardwood with apparent ease, without jamming or misfiring. While power settings must be regulated at the compressor, the stapler has a very effective safety switch preventing firing unless pressed down on a surface. I hope that my favorable impression is born out over the next 100K staples.
Rating :
Be Warned
I received this as a gift.
It will not take narrow crown staples, not 1/4 inch, not 3/8 inch. It looks like it probably takes 1/2 inch wide staples.
There is no possible way it could take anything else because of how the closing mechanism works.
Unless mine is a defect or something.

Easier on the hands
I purchased this tool to install carpeting on a stairway. The thought of having to do that task using a hand stapler never crossed my mind. I searched for staplers and found the Surebonder 9500 and based on previous reviews, I purchased the tool. I was not disappointed. I used Arrow staples and never had a misfire. I ran about 2000 staples through the gun over two days. Job completed. The only downside was that the plastic cap or air discharge left a few black marks on the walls. Good tool for small jobs. The next project is insulation.
Rating :
Good Stapler for the money
Nice little stapler for the money. Works great for stapling fabric on flat surfaces. The design of the safety tip ensures that your staple is a few millimeters behind where the safety tip meets your work piece. This makes it very difficult to use in tight spaces. I did experience several misfires where the drive pin that deployes the staple didn't fully tract once a staple was ejected, forcing me to have to open the staple magazine and manually push it back to the "ready" position. This seemed to happen regularly when attempting to use in tight spaces, but not so much on flat open spaces where the safety tip could be fully deployed.

Floor Nailer
I have only used this nailer for a short time and so far has performed as I had hoped. As of now I would have no problem recommending this product to anyone.
Rating :
great tool with a great price
I have never used a hidden nailer in my life, let alone install a hardwood floor. this tool was perfect not a single problem and I put 4000 nails through it. I had no problems with it damaging the floor either. The floor I put down was Hard Maple so it can get the job done even on a very hard specie of wood.
Rating :
Great Nailer at a fraction of the cost
Great nailer at a great price. Amazon quickly shipped the nailer and I opened it to find everything perfect and in place. Installed 600 sq feet of 3/4" Brazillian Cherry with no issues. I didn't have the issue that others had with having to add duct tape to the shoe to get the right angle. No problems with the mallet. The floor looks great. I would recommend this nailer for someone looking to do a DIY floor project and doesn't want to spend a fortune. Not sure how this would hold up in a contractor situation, but it fit my needs.
Rating :
great product
Great tool for the money. Doing 300 square feet of 3/4 incyh maple flooring, gun has not missed a beat. Did not want to spend three or four hundred dollars on a tool that I would not use to often, but did not want to buy a piece of garbage either. Read other peoples reviews on this pneumatic floor nailer, and most rated it highly. They were right. Could not have rented it for what it cost to buy, plus did not have to rush to finish the job. Add free shipping and no tax , what more could you ask for.Ramsond RMM4 2-in-1 Air Hardwood Flooring Cleat Nailer and Stapler Gun

Questions & Answers
Question : pneumatic or cordless electric tools?
So I bought myself a 26 gallon air compressor & it came with a free impact wrench & I picked up an air ratchet. So far i like it allot but have not realy used the tools except to test them real quick & hear that cool sound.I'm going to be working on my motorcycle mostly but I bought a new shed to store it in and I am building up my tool collection from scratch just so i have them.Anyway my delima now is I have no power tools other than what i already mentioned and am looking to buy some. I am wondering if i should just buy all air tools now since i have the compressor of if I should buy corless 18v power tools. For instance i know I need a drill. maybe a saw, dremel, grinder, sander. The basic stuff. What do you think i should do?Is pneumatic better for some tools but cordless better for others?Would cordeless be more practical & versitale, or should i utilize my compressor since i have it.I always go over the top & was looking at a nice Dewalt combination cordless 18v combo set. I want good stuff, is 18v from a major brand like Dewalt good enough for weekend warrior? I know the air tools pack a nice punch so thats why I am confused on which direction to go. Do they sell air tools in nice combo sets too that arn't crap? Thanks!
Answer:
Depends if you are going to be always working in the same location with an air compressor or do you want some mobility. I would think a Dewalt cordless system is the best of both worlds for drills and saws but the air would be best for sanding, nibbling and stuff like that. In other words each system is good to have together

Question : can a 10,000 watt power inverter power an air compressor of 3hp?
i dont have a garage and want to do projects with my truck. I am planning to use power tools such as grinders, and most especially an air compressor that can supply enough power to paint a car. i know i can put up light bulbs with any power inverter but vaccuums and other power tools that have moving parts, even if their rating is well below the rating of my inverter does not work, why and how can i solve this problem?
Answer:
You definately have enough juice for the power inverter. It may be that your power tools requires pure sine wave power vesus the modified sine wave of regular power inverters, i.e. some power tools with motors that have speed control will work only with pure sine wave. Also check the cable size from the battey to the power inverter, i.e. it may not be supplying enough current.

Can any one give me an idea?
Answer:
It seems to me that you've spent a hell of a lot of money on this stuff. Presumably, it's taken at least a year or 2 to accumulate everything. So my guess is if you haven't had any "revelations" after all this time, your best bet would be to sell it to someone who can put it to good use and invest the money in the stock market. It'll be rebounding any day now and you' could make a fortune without leaving your computer desk. If you're really determined to be self-employed and don't have a preference for what you do then choose something that requires the most expensive equipment, because you'll have less competition. The less competition you have, the easier it is to demand higher prices for what you do.Good luck.

Question : I have many large and heavy tools-air and electric power tools I need to store how do I store such heavy items?
I live in a double wide mobile home, I have a small storage shed but the walls are not strong enough to hang anything on. I would prefer solutions that could be made from the scrap material I have with minimal new purchases.
Answer:
Cheap plastic bins are available EVERYWHERE. The LABOR require to build anything is worth more than you will pay.

Question : Looking to buy lots of tools, would it be ideal to electrical tools or air powered tools and why?
sanderscrewdriverand many more, too many to list
Answer:
Airtools are usually more powerfull and superior for continious use, they are also safer in a shop enviroment since they dont require electrical power cords that can be damaged !The downsides of airtools is the noise (usually airtools are more noisy and the noise is a higher pitch which has a more damaging effect on your ears ) and require lubricated air, another thing is that you need a compressor to run them !So to sum it up, if you plan on using your tools in a shop and not at changing locations and if you plan on doing alot of work then stick with airtools , if you only use your tools on occasion and at different locations around the house or property then go with electric !
