This little chuck , may I saw has gotten more use , I really like the idea you do not have to use a wrench to turn this to change bits . Quick and easy .

If you own a B&d rotary tool this work perfect. I've seen some review that this actually don't work on dremel itself. But it will on other rotary brands..THanks dremel now i'm loving my B&D rotary..

Replacement Chuck

This replacement is not as robust and heavy as the original from 10 years ago (reason I gave it 4 stars), but it worked just fine. Looks like it will not fit at first, however the shaft threads match. Not much to comment on...holds bits as good as the original. Go ahead and buy one.

Won't fit on a flexshaft attachment

I haven't used this accessory because it can not be used with the flexable shaft. Didn't think of that when I ordered it.

Very Satisfied

With the vertical grid, this bug killer is much better at "self cleaning" than the previous Stinger that I had, yet it seems to kill as many if not more bugs.

Performance substandard in MT

Saw the good reviews on this item and bought it, but in NW Montana it turned out to be quite ineffective. Very small radius - like about 10 ft. Very limited efficacy. Poor choice in this region.

It's good, but could be better.

I bought one to try it out in the South America. I put this unit up in the camp in the jungle. It's fun to watch this thing work. Kills everything that can get inside of it.
The problem, nothing big can get inside. Will have to cut the frame like someone here suggested. That's why 4 stars.

pretty good product

Pro's : works well. Kills many different kinds of bugs.

Con's : isn't as self-cleaning as described. No doubt the vertical electrodes help keep the bugs from sticking, but I still need to clean it daily.

Overall, I really like this product. It has made a huge dent in the infestation of moths and other bugs we've been dealing with this summer! I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This thing appears to work. It does not guarantee you will not be bitten, but it guarantees that you will not be bitten AS MUCH! After the rubbishy Danatrap it has been a God Send.

Yes, I would recommend it, but it is expensive to run. Octenol lures are not cheap and you definitely need them, replacement lamps are expensive and then there is the cost of running the thing day and night from spring to winter so you have that to add to your electricity bill.

If you suffer as much as I do from mosquito bites you will gladly budget for this gadget, it makes life bearable, and sitting or working in the garden pleasurable again.

Dewalt backs their XRP batteries

We use our Dewalt cordless tools for Habitat for Humanity builds and for around the house and we love them. They provide a lot of power for a long period of time. Yet, these last pair of batteries either stopped taking a charge or wouldn't fully recharge. Dewalt has a three year warranty on their batteries so I just took them to the Dewalt service center, they ran a test on them to confirm the battery status and then gave me a new pair of batteries. It only took 5 minutes and there wasn't any hassle. We're sticking with Dewalt.

Great Lasting Power!

I received the pair of batteries, charged them both and they worked as good as when my drill was new 5 years ago. They both hold the charge for days. I did later find them at Home Depot for $10 less - and I don't believe it was a sale. They used to be about $80 a piece at Ace Hardware.

Out of date Batteries

While the Batteries purchased are functionally working, they were also about 18 months old. If I were to buy them again I would spend the extra $7.50 and buy 1 month old batteries locally.

Worm out batteries made my combo DeWalt drill and circular saw unuseable. New batteries gave them new life - like new.

THIS IS THE SECOND DEWALT FLASHLIGHT THAT WORKED ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME HEATED UP AND THEN STOPPED WORKING I WAS AWAY FOR A WHILE AND DID NOT HAVE THE CHANCE TO REPORT THIS WOULD LOVE TO GET ANOTHER ONE TO REPLACE IT BUT NOT SURE IF THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG THE BATCH OF THEM THAT ARE BEING SENT

Good Deal for the Price

This was an Amazon Deal of the Day for $14. Nice bit selection, sturdy carrying case, name brand. Although there was some feedback questioning the durability of these bits, I couldn't resist at this price. Nevertheless, under normal household project use, these bits should do the job. "Impact compatible" does not necessarily mean true impact quality--for heavy-duty use, especially when the impact feature isn't the main advertising hook to get you buy these bits. (I.e., water-resistant does not mean water-proof.)

Good set of bits, case construction so-so

This impact drive bit set includes a great assortment of bits. I've put several through their paces and they are holding up fine. The variety of attachments is great. I especially like the socket attachments and the long bits. My only complaint is the case. The small clips that hold the bits in place are weak and don't operate that well. Also, the clasp on the outside of the case to hold the two halves together often gets stuck between the two covers when trying to close the case. A little wiggling will overcome this, but things like this typically get worse over time. Overall, a very good product and well worth it if you exchange bits often.

Not typical Makita quality

I am a BIG fan of Makita.... I own and have used/rented several of their power tools over the years. This small set looked perfect for my home needs and indeed, it includes most tools that most folks would need for home use. I accidentally dropped the case on the floor out of a car when unloading ... upon opening, the tools were everywhere as practically all the plastic retention clips had broken.... this was in 90 degree's, not freezing weather which could have made the plastic brittle!

I haven't used all the bits yet, but I'm very unimpressed with the twist-drills.... they have no bite. The socket drivers all seem to work fine and I've had no problem with the screw bits.... I haven't used the flat bits yet.

So.... mainly very disappointed with the quality/durability of the case and the twist-drills. This set may be OK for occasional light home use, but I couldn't recommend it unconditionally unfortunately.

This was one of the best things I bought online. I bought the drill and this multi-part kit together It's a great drill and screwdriver kit with the option of drilling large holes as well. The individual parts are held in place by small clips that are easily removed. Lots of extra drills in case you strip one or lose one. Very compact and easy to carry.

Suspect Quality

I just received this item and so far have only used the 1/4" nut driver. That piece became completely stripped after driving about 24 screws for mounting some window blinds. I have to wonder about the quality of the remaining pieces in the set.
