Leak problems
We got this pool in the middle of summer heat and were looking forward to cooling off. About halfway through filling it with water, we noticed the connection for the pump hose started leaking. It appeared there should have been some type of gasket to seal the space between the pump hose and the hole in the pool. We tried everything to stop the leak, outside of draining the pool but it wouldn't quit leaking. We were very disappointed.
It's too bulky to be worthwhile to send back.
I would not recommend buying this particular pool unless you can figure a way to seal the pump hose before filling the pool.

Little Pool, Big Fun
We purchased this pool due to the heat wave hitting NY the past week and have no regrets. The pool setup was extremely simple and after filling the ring with air, setting up the pump, filling it with water for a few hours and putting some quick acting shock in, we were using the pool the same day. I used to have an above ground pool and this is a great alternative, and much easier to maintain.

Easy fun for kids
This is our second one. First one almost made it 3 seasons before the seams started to leak. We live at the beach but it's nice to dip in the fresh water after spending the day in the ocean. The kids love it. Going with the 9x18 ultra-frame next year.

This is the second one of these I have had to get and both were defective. The wall of the pool collapses. We've set it up according to the instructions but it won't stay up. Of course I didn't report this in time, so I'm stuck with it. NOT worth the money!!!!!!

Perfect Low Maintenance Pool
This pool is just the right size for my 4 year old grandson. I have it set up on the deck, outside my kitchen window. I can watch him while I am baking or making dinner or just doing the dishes. Since this has been such a hot summer, I go in myself to cool off. I have a big pool lounge chair that just fits and it is so relaxing. My grandson just plays around it. Don't bother buying a lot of filters. Just take out the one that comes with the pool and use a strong spray garden hose to clean it and it will last all summer. I cut thin 1/4" styfoam insulation board to cushion the bottom of the pool from the deck so there will be no leaks. Have fun.

Does the job
We have been using these types of pools for years. They are great, as long as your expectations are not over the top. They are a plastic above ground pool. They have a filter that just barely fits the product but keeps it clean enough. We use liquid shock for the chlorine (which they do need). They do need a level ground area. You also need to maintain it by skimming it an checking for leaks. I think the shelf life is about 2-3 years at which point it does need to be replaced. We have a small yard area and do not have a long summer season so to have a pool up for the whole year is waste in my eyes. Even teenagers when hot will get into this. I recommend it.

Great Swimming Pool
I actually bought this swimming pool for my nephew who lives in Colorado. My nephew had come to visit me in Las Vegas, Nevada and I have a built in swimming pool that my nephew loved to swim in. So when he returned home to Colorado he asked him mother for a swimming pool so he could swim at home. Well after hearing that I thought that this swimming pool would be a great gift for him. Quite to my surprise he absolutely loves his new pool. I have not seen the pool set up, but my niece (my great-nephews mother) said that setting up the pool was way, way, easy and maintaining the pool has been quite simple and when I asked if my nephew and his friends enjoyed the pool - I was told that this is his second home. Whenever he has free time you can find him and his friends in his swimming pool. From what I hear it is quite durable and has had up to 10 kids (boys) in the pool at one time and it held up quite good (you know how wild boys can be at times). So I would recommend this pool to anyone who would want a great quality pool that is easy to set-up and easy to maintain. On a closing note I would say that this company delivered this product as they had promised and it would appear that the quality of this product is very good.

I really love this pool.I was not a big fan for inflatable pool,but when you have three small kids...you do what you gotta do...The other thing I was worry about is my not so perfect ground level(maybe like 1-2'off)didn't have to -looks and feels perfect.I ordered a new pump(the one that pool came with,doesn't do anything...)and I but a ladder (it will really be helpfull for the kids!)

Who needs a beach? Stay home and stay cool!
Bought this pool two years ago and just got around to setting it up this summer.
Child's play to set up and fill. Do pick up a cover to keep the bugs and yard junk at bay. Live in the country and was able to fill it with our well. Priceless! The wife and I use it to chill out on those hot, hot, hot, July afternoons! No driving to the beach, no beach traffic, no jerks in beach traffic.... ah! It paid for itself due to the July heatwave. Bravo, Bestway.... how we spent our summer vacation. CHEAP!

Great Investment for Young Kids
I have been very surprised by how much use our pool. The kids enjoy it and we get at least one hour of swimming everyday. My daugther is seven and can actually work on her swimming skills in it. Plenty of hours playing pool games like basketball and volleyball. It is nice to take a break from our community pool and being able to get some relief from the heat at home. eight kids can play comfortably in the pool without issues. I have to say that the only draw back is that the filter is not adequate, but for the price, replacing it with one stronger is not that big of a deal. Its great!!!

Perfect for Kids and Adults to Relax!
We rent and didn't have much space available in our yard so we bought what we could. Although it's not very deep for adults, it's perfect for our nephews and niece! They have a blast in this pool! The valley is hot in the summer and so my husband and I, as well as many of our friends, enjoy sitting around in the pool with some iced tea on a hot summer day. Love it!

Question : I will be taking my toddler to a pool for the first time. Are inflatable arm bands sufficient?
My daughter has never been in a full size swimming pool before. We will be staying in a hotel and I would love to take her in with me. Are the inflatable arm bands safe enough, given that she will be in constant contact with me? Suggestions for better swim gear?
Answer:
Floatie arm bands are fine to help her float when she is with you, but you may not want to constantly hold her when you are in the water. In that case, you can get a blow up floatie chair that are made for toddlers. That way, she can sit in it and float while you are standing or swimming next to her. My kids are two and 4 and swim on their own fine with the arm floaties and we only go in the pool a couple times a year.

Question : How do you tell a friend they aren't welcome back due to their bad manners, without hurting their feelings?
I have 2 friends. Lets call them Ricky and Monica. Monica has a built in pool in her backyard. I brought Ricky over there recently to swim. Ricky presented bad manners and Monica told me that he is not welcome back.Ricky wants to go swimming again soon, but I'm not sure how to tell him why he isn't welcome back without hurting his feelings.So these are the 3 reasons he isn't welcome back.1.When Monica first approached him, she politely said “Hi, you must be Ricky” and Ricky responded with “yeah, who wants to know?”. Monica thought this was a really rude way to greet somebody, but she let it slide.2. During swimming, Ricky tried to stand on one of the floating, inflatable mats in the pool. Its definitely not meant to be stood on. The mat is about the size of a full size bed. My boyfriend was there, and he said “don't do that. You could get seriously hurt.” Ricky got off the float and tried to do it again. Monica came outside and told him “please don't do that, you could get hurt, and that float doesn't belong to me; it belongs to my best friend. I don't want anything to happen to it.” After she went back inside, Ricky attempted to stand on the float again, but my boyfriend stopped him.3.Monica has a door that goes to the hallway. She constantly keeps it closed off so the cats don't get into the bedrooms and hide under her bed. When Ricky first entered the hallway to go to the bathroom to change, we told him the rule about the door.. and he closed it that one time. He left it open twice after that. Answer:
For his own good you have to tell him the truth. Don't allow yourself to get into an arguement about it....Monica is the one who owns the house and since she says he isn't invited back, there isn't a lot you can do about it. Just tell him that Monica doesn't want him there anymore because she was unhappy with the way he acted last time. If he asks what he did, tell him, "Just think about it." And walk away. He knows what he did.
