Customer Review :
nice for one season
I've been using these for a couple of months now every other day for 2-3 hours a day. I'd say they are nice - comfy and soft but not very durable. They are ultra light and maybe that's why they are missing out on durability. The outer layer of sponge-like material is fine but the inner lining of a soft black fabric is peeling off on the sides. That's where there is the most friction between the pad and the knee. My knees are small but the pads do fit and even though there is a slight excess of velcro but it's not a whole lot and it doesn't bother me. I've worn the pads over two different pairs of pants and they don't slide down. I haven't tried on bare knees (with shorts) but I think they would be fine too. The knees do sweat a little under but I guess that's unavoidable. Overall I'd say they are nice and good for the price - light, waterproof, serve their purpose but they would only last one or maybe two seasons if not used intensively. a way out would be probably to replace or glue back the inner linig.

Are these even designed for women?
The elastic is placed too far apart, for someone with a larger leg. Now, I'm not skinny, but I'm not a football player either. I'm about a size 16 and the elastic is designed for someone with larger legs. They aren't snug at all. I broke my ankle last week and figured scooting around on my knees would be easier at home to clean things, which it is. However, these keep flopping over and when I'm on ceramic flooring---boom! There's the pain because they are always slipping.
If you get these, have a decent pair of safety pins to make them snug because the elastic is placed too far apart and seems to be designed for people with larger legs.

Efficient Product
Bought as a gift and here's the offial report:
'Great pad cushions and velcro closure. Extremely comfortable. Only hitch: the liners inside start detaching very quickly.'
For under $10 they're worth it.

The Best
Been wearing these for over seven years stocking groceries at the local health food store. I replace a pair every year, and wear the older ones in the organic garden or when working in the cellar making sauerkraut or feta cheese. I've tried all the expensive kneepads, but have found none better. Yeah, I've got thick, hairy Greek legs so have no problem with the limited velcro or the chaffing when the linings wear out. Simply the BEST I've found.

Lousy!!!
I wore these twice and they skinned the .... out of my knees. Yes, I had the straps adjusted correctly. Won't use them again. Use a kneeling pad instead!
The kneeling pad has worked beautifully! No more skinning my knees.

Simple but effective
These pads are useful where you must be on your knees a lot. If you must clean up, work on the car, or other activities where you must kneel, then having one or more of these pads might be a good idea.
Rating :
Knee comfort achieved
This simple product does what it promises. If you need to protect your knees when you do work on our hands and knees this will do the job.
Rating :
Life Saver For Your Knees
These are excellent life savers for your knees - very well padded and soft cushion. However, I do agree with the others - although the product states large you will need two in order to have enough room for both knees. Overall, very pleased with the product and would buy again. I read the product description and knew only one was being offered, so I purchased three and these are working well for me. Also very durable and easy to clean.

picture deceiving
i feel the picture of these pads is deceiving. for this price of almost $7 i thought there would be 3 pads; however, when i opened the box there was only one. i am very disapointed in this purchase.
Rating :
Cheap
This is a sorry piece of foam. As a previous reviewer said, they do leave impressions in your knees. Also, this product leaves the color of the foam on whatever it touches...your knees, your clothes, your hands...EVERYTHING! Don't buy them.

Customer Review :
Needs adjustment belt
The knee pads are wonderful but they need an adjustment belt. The Velcro is nice but can only be pulled so tight. The pads constantly slip down the knees due to this oversight with the Velcro and small knees .

Gel Filled Knee Pads
These pads are of excellent quality and really do the job of protecting one's knees. I have one bad knee (needs replacement) and one which was replaced 6 months ago. I absolutely need cushioning when I kneel and these do the job. One minor negative is the strap length with velcro--the straps are a little bit long and there is just enough velcro to secure them.
Rating :
Most comfortable & best made knee pads
Neiko Comfort Gel-Filled Protective Knee Pads These are the best knee pads I have ever bought. They are the most expensive but they are worth it. Other pads I have bought have elastic straps with Velcro fasteners. Before long the elastic straps stretch out. Then you have to tie the straps in knots to make them fit, that is not slide off your knee and down your leg. These pads have Velcro fasteners but the straps are made of slightly stretchy FABRIC. If you are over 40 you will find these pads excellent for cleaning bath tubs, spotting carpet or really cleaning a kitchen floor. If I am using them for gardening I take a rag and with a large rubber band I secure the rag over the gel pad. I find this a better option then trying to clean dirt out of the deep grooves in the gel pads.
Rating :
Extremely comfortable!
These pads fit well and did not bother the backs of my knees. Another reviewer said that they were too small, but I found them quite roomy for my medium-sized knees. Yesterday, I knelt in the garden for almost 4 hours in cushy comfort, even when I was on one knee with the other foot on the ground. The pads have a stretchy fabric wrap-around back that fastens with velcro for a comfortable fit. The pads stayed put when I stood and walked. Bliss.
Rating :
Neiko Comfort Gel-filled knee pads
These knee pads really protect your knees. I have pain in my knees when I kneel down and with these pads I didn't have any pain. The only thing I don't like about them is the size--they are very large! They fit my husband (he's 6 ft. tall) much better that then do me. I wasn't able to stand up with the pads on and have them stay in place, they fell down because I couldn't adjust the velcro straps to fit my legs. I would like something similar that is designed for a small woman.

Midwest Glove and Gear Kneeling Bench is useful for sitting or kneeling while gardening. The kneeling bench helps reduce stress and fatigue on your back and knees. The comfortable padded foam seat and knee panels folds flat for easy storage. The square steel construction and powder coat finsih make it a strong durable structure.
Customer Review :
Shows promise
I received this product and had a problem setting it up. The latches that spring into place were more difficult to deal with than I had anticipated and in getting it set up, I managed to bend the latch catch slightly. I was not able to straighten it out completely, but it does latch securely at this point. I was pleased at the sturdiness and feel comfortable kneeling and rising using the handles. However, entering the second month of use, I find that the little plastic slip-on ends are falling off (one is in the garden somewhere, no doubt) and the other plastic gizmos that snap into two holes at the bottom and top lateral supports tend to fall out and will (no doubtedly) join the other lost plastic end in the garden somewhere.
Over all, I find the product very useful and hope for many seasons of use as I weed and plant in my garden

Weeding Bench
I love my weeding bench I have a hard time getting up from weeding but with my Weeding Bench my problem is solved I Love it and am so glad I purchased it. Plus the bench is very soft on my sore knees. Easy to cary around. I hang a bag on the handle for my tools and I am ready to go!

Pleased
The bench came with a tool pouch instead of gloves-welcome exchange. It is sturdy and easy to fold. I would recommend.

It works
This has solved the problem of getting down on my hands and knees in the garden and also for getting into the corners when I wash the kitchen and bathroom floors. I only gave it 4 stars because even though it hasn't failed me yet, I feel it could be a bit sturdier.

Kneeler Bench
My husband has always had a kneeler bench, but had seen better days. He loves this kneeler and can't get along without it, especially gardening, pulling weeds, even putting air in the kids bicycle tires. He uses it constantly.

I got this kneeler for my father for Father's Day. He said it was better then the one he had and was happy with his gift.

yard butler garden kneeler and seat
This product is well made, sturdy and fairly comfortable while kneeling on it. The handles make it nice to return to a stand for those of us that can use the extra boost and balance of the 'side rails'. However, I found the seat to be much to high for weeding, and when used in that position, it increased pain in my lower back. This unit is easy to fold and stores in a small space. The weight is heavy enough to be strong but not so heavy to be hard to haul around with you in the garden. The width is too long for many of my rows in the garden, but I tend to crowd my garden.

More than a garden tool
We have been painting the exterior of our ranch house and I've found this portable garden kneeler-seat perfect for low frame painting as well as gardening. Being in my 60's I like the seat position the best. When weeding I use both hands and dump the weeds in a basket, then just swing the seat 45 or 90 degrees and cover a lot of "ground". It was my viniyoga teacher who suggested this tool. She often had to address "garden back" in class! The only negative on this product, is that II was a little slow learning how to open and close it.

Bugs in wood
Bought this a few months ago. We Liked the Kneeler but we kept finding sawdust under it in the garage. I took it apart today and found the wood core inside the seat infested with bugs.

Questions & Answers
Question : Did Obama borrow Bwaney Fwanks kneepads for his trip over to see the Muslim King and beg for lower oil prices?
Obama bowed to him on his first trip, apologized to the Muslim world how bad America has treated them, and like Hillary said about Bush going over to beg for lower oil prices, Obama must have groveled on his hands and knees or if he didn't Obama has his oil buddies, which one say you?
Answer:
No this time he used ummm Nancy uhhhh Pelosi's wellllll kneepads

Question : What kneepads do the girls in college volleyball wear?
What kneepads do the girls in college volleyball wear?
Answer:
Nike Dri-fit, Mizuno VS-1, and Asics. Just watch Big-10 or ESPN for college volleyball, you will see some more details regarding their gears.
|
Question : Are thick or thin volleyball kneepads better?
The thick ones look wierd but I don't know if they offer more skid protection than the thinner ones. Thank you!
Answer:
On my volleyball team last year, most of my team mates wore the thick volleyball kneepads. The only girl who wore the thin ones was the setter, so she didnt do much passing. I was a back row player and the thick knee pads provide alot more protection.
|
Question : How tight do you want your volleyball kneepads to be?
I have to buy volleyball kneepads and I was just wondering how tight do I want them to be? Are they supposed to be hard to slide off? I have tried on all of the sizes but since I've never played volleyball before I don't really know what I'm doing.thankshow are they supposed to affect my movement?
Answer:
I think the knee pads should be tight a enough, and you need to do a little practice and I can gave you a tip that you have to blend your knees a lot in volley ball to get the ball up like you want to.

Question : Does it matter what kind of kneepads a highschool volleyball player uses?
Also, does anyone know if these will fit a teen (16 years old)? http://www.amazon.com/Mikasa-812-Competition-Kneepad-Black/dp/B00091PQJ0/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=s porting-goods&qid=1200461748&sr=8-1Thanks!
Answer:
No, it doesn't "matter".The "Mikasa" pad you picked looked good, and Mikasa IS a good brand.I would rather take my player to the store and let him/her make the decision. A 16-er could be really picky so that you don't want to waste your effort. In local store a pair of Nike Dri-Fit would cost about $17 + Tax, and a pair of Mizuno VS-1 would cost around $20-25 + tax. By the way, Mizuno seems to be more popular these days... and VS-1 is better than T-1 based on my personal experience.http://www.amazon.com/Mizuno-VS-1-Volleyball-Kneepads/dp/B0009SQBSI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s= sporting-goods&qid=1200507052&sr=8-2

Answer:

Question : What kind of kneepads do college/club volleyball players use?
I've noticed that they're small, thin white ones. I'm interested in those because they seem to be more flexible unlike chunky asics kneepads. Please recommend some good, small volleyball kneepads!
Answer:
Well, I prefer the Asics pads myself, but I'm a DS/Libero so that extra padding is nice. But I have alot of friends in club, and I also know alot of people on my high school team that wear what you are talking about. Pretty much everyone that wears a thin type has the Mizuno VS-1. It's made of a thin, flexible material that breathes alot better than most. They also fold easy if you are into that kind of wear.
|
Question : What should I do with my Volleyball kneepads?
I have volleyball 5 hours a day for the whole week. They are always sweaty and disgusting. How can I keep them clean and in good shape?

Febreze.
