Simple DIY repair

The replacement part fit easily, mounts with two screws. Make sure to unplug the dryer first, one of the leads stays "live". Don't throw the old one away until you get the part, you will have to transfer a overheat sensor (no instructions included). The part number is different from the original, and prices on the internet are all over the map. This was on the low end of the range, and the quality and match is as good as it can be.

Best product ever!

Just got a smooth cooktop so was very concerned about keeping it looking new. A protectant came with the cooktop and used it for a few days before I got this one home. World of difference!. The other one was ok..this one was much much better. I use it after every cooking after using the whirlpool cleaner(btw the other cleaners are just as good) and it gives the range a super clear shine and protects it really well for the next cooking. Stuff is also easier to remove esp burnt on stuff.I have a black range so every spot shows. Not with this protectant!. Highly recommend this!

Awesome cooktop cleaner

I've had my flat surface stove top for a few years now. In the beginning I was very diligent about cleaning it weekly, but life has gotten a bit crazy the last year or so & I honestly can't remember the last time I cleaned it. So yesterday I got out this product (which I had bought when I first got my new stove) and set out to work on the nasty brown rings around the elements and with just a bit of elbow grease, my cook top looks brand new after probably about 18 months of not using the special cleaner. I was so afraid I had ruined my cook top by not keeping up with the cleaning but I was wrong!

This is the second broiler pan that I have purchased, I gave one as a gift. It is hard to find a pan of this quality and price anywhere. New ovens no longer come with a broiler pan like the ones when I was a kid. I would like one a bit bigger, but have not found one. This one is great for the price.

Wow! A Broiler Pan That's Solid

Hard to get excited about a broiler pan -- except that it's surprisingly difficult to find a good one in a store these days. This is a good one. A couple inches short but still the best one I found. Ah, the simple things in life.

This product is exactly what I wanted.
1) exceptional high quality;
2) small size that easily fits in the sink for cleaning.

I have a larger broiler pan that came with our stove but it's so difficult to clean because the unit will not fit entirely in the sink. If someone feels they still need a larger pan, they may want to consider just buying two of this smaller sized broiler pan to make up the difference.

This broiler pan is exactly what used to come with any new oven. I was appalled when I realized that they no longer come with a broiler pan. I searched high and low for one in stores but finally decided on this one. I was concerned because I could not physically touch it to know what I was getting. If you are looking for a traditional, quality broiler pan, this is the one. Price is pretty reasonable too.

If you're cooking a delicate sauce, or melting chocolate, it's imperitave to use really low, gentle heat. This diffuser adds a layer of protection between the burner and the bottom of the pan, yet its perforations do allow heat to get through.

Worked as advertised for my outdoor cookstove. Kept the bottom of the pot from burning my beans and chili.

Works great and no smoking

I ordered two of these, one Norpro and one of a another brand. They're almost identical. There was a note enclosed that recommended washing before use to prevent smoking. I followed the recommendation and had absolutely no smoking or odor.

It works perfectly on my gas stove. I've been frustrated for years because I couldn't adjust the flame low enough to warm or gently simmer sauces and soups.

Yes, the wood handle singes near the metal, but it's better than melting plastic or a hot all-metal handle. It doesn't bother me at all. I'm just careful to place it out of direct contact with the flame.

It's definitely worth the price.

I bought this diffuser to be used specifically with my ceramic tagine. I needed to bend the handle up slightly in order for the diffuser to sit flat on my smooth top stove. It works well and I'm definitely glad I made the purchase.

No more burnt skillets, pots!

One thing about the gas range when we moved that just irked me was my inability to cook at low temperatures without burning things, even with my expensive "waterless" stainless steel (18/8) cookware. I was baffled and a little perturbed until one of the neighbors talked about her "diffuser." Your what, I asked? She showed me a well used, blackened metal diffuser that goes over the flame and your pot or pan sits on top of this. Imagine, I found one on Amazon for a pittance of a price, so I ordered two of them (one is in reserve, just in case). After the first usage, it blackened a little, then went on to color and season like most metals will do. The leather tie on the handle seemed a little silly and dangerous (hello? loose hanging objects on / near open flame??) so I took it off and tossed it away. Also, the wooden handle seems to be a little ill-thought out (I'm also just waiting for it to burn when the metal gets hot enough) but you just be aware of it and be ready if it does. So: I'm rating this little item with five stars because it's ingenious, works very well, prevents burning and scorching and I'm happy with it. You will be, too!

Can't beat the price - $2. But the shipping charge is $6. I ended up ordering 4 for the same shipping charge. 2 for myself and 2 for gifting.

I bought it mostly for making Chinese clay pot rice which requires slow simmering at the end. Tried it for the first time, it worked perfectly, no bad odor or burning the wood handle.

I'm very happy with the product. It's a nice addition to my kitchen arsenal.

Makes life so much easier!

I have a light-colored smooth top range and have tried a number of other products and it was hard work keeping the range clean. Once clean, apply a VERY thin coat of the protectant and it's almost like wax for the car. Stuff still burns-on, but comes off so much easier you'll be surprised. It lasts a long time and is well worth the money. Whirlpool also has a complete kit--Cleaner, non-scratch scrub pads, protectant and special applicator pad. I use more protectant than cleaner.

Cleans very well. I had forgotten to clean cooktop after frying hamburger patties, cooked on it next day and realized my mistake, but this cleaner got the cooktop clean, just needed a little more work. Important to clean ceramic cooktops after each use.

I just bought this product last month. I almost totally cuts your cleaning time.
I never used a product like this before and can't believe it does everything that it is supposed to.
You only use a dab, so the bottle will out last my life time. ha ha.
