I'm generally happy with this product. We purchased it to keep the stray cats out of the yard. It works pretty well for that. It seems to go off randomly but it helps water the lawn too so no complaints there.

My dogs do not like it. My wife likes her garden dog free, I do not like the hesitation before it comes on. It could be a little quicker. The sprinkler's spray cannot be adjusted. It has a single stream of water and it shoots high.

Wonderful product!

I have had problems with cats using my yard and garden as a litter box. I tried everything from using organic, chemicals, and even going midevil by buring boards with nails sticking up. But those buggers would find an empty spot and go there. So this was my last resort and it has been a blessing! No more stinky cat poop in my yard :) If you have problems with any animals I would recommend this product!!

The darn thing works.

I purchased this thing because I grow and sell Koi in a large outdoor pond. We had a great big blue heron come a callin in addition to the kingfishers and osprey in our area and I just wasn't feeling very secure. I didn't want to use netting to protect the fish as the natural surroundings would be compromised. I hooked up this thing in less than 20 minutes and had it working. It works like a charm and no more big bad birds! PS put the stickers on before you bring it outdoors, its alot earlier. I will be buying another when my additional pens are complete. [...]

A Must Have for the 21st Century Home

There is really no other place to pick up an 8 pack of these for this price. They come from a name brand company and they are more beneficial for everyone. It not only lasts longer than incandescents but also costs less to light. The size of them may be an issue for some if you are placing these in tight places, since they do stick out maybe a mm or two more than its incandescent equivalent. I would definitely recommend picking these up and replacing all those money spending incandescents anyone has around their house.

I haven't really done much with these lights yet, just unpacked one and took a few photos with one bulb. White balance is coming in at very close to 2700K. I wish these had CRI rating, but I can't complain for a sub one dollar product. So far very worth the price. Will continue on later with a bank of these bulbs and see how it preforms then.

compact CFL replacement lighting

These CFLs give off a nice warm, golden light. I have them in several places around the house including the bathroom and find them a better alternative than LED lighting at present. Great value as well.

I needed to replace some hot burning, incandescent bulbs in a light fixture in my dining room.

These burn much cooler and the softer light for a dining room is very effective.

I would not recommend these bulbs for reading with though.

Prices at Amazon often fluctuate, but $6.99 for an eight pack of CFL's (compact fluorescent lamps), is a very good price, especially if you get free shipping. These 13W lamps are very small, only 1.5 inches in diameter, and 3.9 inches high (not including the screw in base). This smaller size lamp is ideal for use with light fixtures with a diffuser or lens, where the compartment for the lamps is small.

Lamp color is measured in degrees Kelvin, and these are rated at 2700 degrees K. Color perception varies from person to person, but these lamps are on the "warm" side, closer to incandescent light, and nicely suited for home use. The light output from a 13W CFL, is roughly equivalent to a 60W incandescent lamp, and unless used in tandem, are probably best suited for general use applications.

These particular lamps are manufactured in China. Rated life is 8000 hours (approximately 333 days), with an initial output of 825 lumens. Lamp life is based on performance under ideal conditions in a testing lab. Turning a lamp on and off, shortens its life, and actual lamp life is almost always shorter than the rated life. Even assuming you get as little as 80% of the rated life, 87 cents per lamp is still a pretty good deal.

Broken bulb and Missin pad for starters

I bought two traps. The amazon box came poorly packaged and both product boxes appeared to have been opened. The product boxes are made of a paper-thin material as well.

I discovered that one box was missing a pad and the other had a broken bulb. Between the two I had a working trap but getting the glue pad to stay in place was a challenge. Perhaps, I had a defective trap but there was nothing to hold the pad in place and I couldn't very well press it down into place with the glue-side up.

The instructions really didn't cover inserting the glue pad, just said peel it off and place in bottom of trap. Yeah right. The process took me 10 minutes, some scotch tape, and looked like something out of a Laurel and Hardy film.

It is an attractive nightlight though.

Catches fleas, but some traps are faulty

My daughter came home from a visit with her dad, and unbeknownst to me, he was battling a flea problem. Long story short, my carpets were infested within a couple of weeks. I've used Adams carpet powder, boric acid, and Adams foggers, constant vacuuming, and they show back up within a few days. I ordered 6 of these, and within 24 hours, the first one wouldn't light. It has been a week, the 2 traps in my living room have quite a lot of fleas stuck to them, and the other rooms' traps have at least 10-15 each. Last night, a bulb burned out on another trap, and I've replaced it with the bulb from the first trap, but it still won't light (so 2 traps are useless.) I personally think if you bought the sticky refills and got some cheap desk lamps, aimed the light at the trap, it'd do the same thing. Currently, any fleas that jump on us get picked off and thrown onto the sticky part of the trap. I just ordered a few cans of Ultracide, and if that doesn't work, I'm going to rip out all of the carpets in my home. Drastic, but better than having fleas.

I bought 3 of these units in an effort to avoid using chemicals in my home. 2 of the 3 work great. The light-bulb in the 3rd burned out as soon as it was plugged in and I have had a difficult time getting the issue resolved with the manufacturer. Buy extra sticky pads because they are only good for 2-4 weeks.

Nice to see something that works as advertised. I bought one of these traps and put it in the living room at night to see how many fleas it would attract. I had previously sprayed this room and didn't expect there to be any fleas, but it attracted and trapped about 50 the first night; more the next night. I ordered 2 more to place in other rooms and on the back porch where one of my cats spends most of her time. Great aid to be used in conjunction with other treatments. I definitely recommend this item.

This is not only very nice to look at but it feels sturdy and heavy, nothing worse than a flimsy piece of bath or kitchen appliance. This is a very nice faucet and I love the one handle bar, very easy and convenient when you don't have the time to fumble with knobs and temperature settings, I've used this style since I was a kid growing up in Poland and I'm still a fan.

Great looking and easy to install

The American Standard Reliant 3 Faucet is nice looking set and the quality is something that will likely have this faucet sitting in my bathroom for years. There is nothing fancy about this faucet, it's fairly standard when it comes to design, but it does look very nice, sleek, and modern. I got the polished chrome version.

Installation was fairly quick and straightforward. I have installed a faucet before, but by no means am I a plumber. The instructions were pretty clear and concise and the supply lines were included (I'm not sure that supply lines are always included, but they were). The length of hoses should be sufficient for just about any job.

I was very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. The parts seem very solid and strong. Overall, the price is fairly decent for a quality faucet (trust me, cheap faucets do not last long).

A solid choice for the bathroom

I have *never* changed a faucet without it tuning into an all day affair, and with this faucet it was no different. Luckily, though, it wasn't because of the installation process. This one installed easily. It's uninstalling faucets and getting in and out lines hooked up that is the problem (I wish that instead of marketing products as easy to install, they would create features that promote easy to unistall). That isn't the point, though. This faucet truly is an American Standard, all the way down to it being made in Mexico (Central America, but still American, right?). You've seen this design before and it works beautifully. Nice, easy to reach and adjust centrally located handle. Very smooth movement. Drain handle right in back. The faucet height and reach is just right for bathroom sinks and the water flow is sufficient. I have this in my kids' bathroom and it fits their needs nicely (single handle better than dual controls). I like the fact they made the basin connectors (how the faucet attaches to the sink) underneath plastic ones that you can screw on with your hands. I hate it when they use nuts that are larger than most adjustable wrenches and you can barely get them them to turn. I would also hope that plastic will not corrode so when I replace it in the future it is easiler to remove. The connector for the drain (to the up and down lever) actually snaps on in place, eliminating the whole procedure of pinching a springy metal connector onto the rod and making sure it is in the right place. Big time saver. So, you may not impress anyone with a fancy designer faucet, but it is a solid, good enough looking choice for most bathrooms.

Actually is an Improvement

Right out of the box this faucet feels pretty substantial for a 4 inch faucet and it's attractive. However, there are plenty of nice-looking faucets available. The real improvement here is the drain assembly whereby the pop-up screws into the drain via a cable rather than the common method of a stick coming out of the drain that needs to be threaded through a perforated tab and then tightened down a process that is sometimes difficult to line up properly. The Reliant does save time in installation and assuming this faucet holds up, bravo to American Standard for pushing the faucet install a major step ahead.

Samsung DA29-00003G Water Filter

Ordered to replace existing filter in refrigerator. Received promptly. Installed when refrigerator signaled previous filter was exhausted. Not difficult to install, but required considerable torque (by hand)to remove old filter. Biggest complaint is price. Have to pay $32 +or- every 6 months, which seems expensive for a simple water filter. I am looking for a cheaper solution. It seems to function OK, but who can tell without a lab test of the filtered water.

.......I would rate this 5 stars. On price, I have to knock it down a couple of notches. I don't blame Amazon, they are still cheaper than the brick and mortar retailers, but Samsung should be ashamed! Eventually someone will knock this off with a quality product, not the knock off junk that is out there.
